All submitted full-length papers will be subjected to formal peer-review process. Post the peer review process, authors will be notified of acceptance.

Academic papers should cover theory or theory validation, although papers presenting research proposals coupled with initial results will also be considered. Practice-focused papers should include problem space and approach through implementation. Papers that provide insight into critical aerospace technologies and systems design & development will align well with the conference theme. Literature review papers are not considered.

At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference and present their paper in the conference, for their paper to be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Accepted papers will be submitted to SAE International MyTechZone for consideration for inclusion in AeroCON 2022 Conference Proceedings. The Proceedings are published on SAE MOBILUS® ( and are indexed in Scopus and Engineering Village (Ei Compendex).

SAE Event process will be followed for paper submissions and management. For more information, guidelines and paper submission templates, please visit
