We are glad to inform you that SAEINDIA Bengaluru Section conducting One Day Technical Workshop on the topic “APPLICATIONS OF MACHINE LEARNING IN TODAY’S AUTOMOTIVE WORLD”  on 13th July 2019 at  Radission Blu Atria, Bengaluru.

Speakers:

Dr Vivek Venkobarao / Engine & Drivetrain BU,Continental India, AI Developer at Continental Powertrain, Senior member IEEE, Author, Public Speaker

Dr. Vivek has 14 years of experience in Automotive industry. He has about 20 papers as primary author during his research. He has also co-authored a book on design power systems using AI for a reputed international publisher. He has 10 patents granted in India, US and Germany. He is an invited speaker in many SAE and IEEE conferences and workshops. He is Senior member of IEEE and Execom member of CE and TEMS chapter His research interests include real time modelling of physical systems, Mathematical modelling of complex systems, AI and Machine learning applications to various real time problems. He is a senior member of IEEE and an execom member of CE and TEMS chapter Bangalore actively supporting various technical events.

Mr. Rohith Kamath (Ph.D) / Engine & Drivetrain BU,Continental India, Concept Developer Wireless Charging, Machine learning & (Ph.D) Advanced Control Engine Airpath , IEEE Young Professional

Dr. Rohith has about 7 years of industry experience, working in the field of automotive technologies. He is also pursuing PhD in Automotive Electronics from VIT, Vellore. He is also IEEE young professional, member of CE chapter Bangalore and a volunteer for IEEE events. He has published 4 international papers in reputed journals and conferences. He has made contributions to research community by presenting in international conferences and multiple talks in IEEE forums. Having worked as a software developer for embedded application in the initial part of the career, and then graduated to a system developer for complex automotive application, he has gained multidisciplinary knowledge base and experience.

Some of the domains of work and product developments, which he has been responsible for are,

● System and software development for combustion engine airpath development.

● Wireless charging system development for electric vehicles

● Machine learning for automotive applications

His research interests are: Mathematical modeling of real-time system, Control systems, Machine learning, Software optimization, Wireless communication, Inductive charging for electric vehicle technology.
